Centennial Church
"For God so loved the world..."
Vision Statement
"For God so loved the world..." So begins one of the most
recognized passages of scripture and as it continues in John 3:16 and 17,
it explains the basis of God's plan for salvation
through Jesus Christ. So too, should it serve as the basis of
God's plan for revitalization and continued growth of
Centennial Church. As God so loves us, we also should love
one another which becomes manifested by ministries of caring
and concern as we meet the spiritual and felt needs of our
congregation and in our community.
The vision of Centennial Associate Reformed Presbyterian
Church will be that of a community of believers that exists as
a praying, loving, nurturing family where biblically based
preaching and teaching emphasizes spiritual maturity and
evangelistic outreach. Therefore, compelled by His grace and
redemptive passion, that vision comes to reality as exemplified
by these characteristics:
Preaching the Word of God with clarity and boldness
Training in the Word of God to promote spiritual
growth in our daily lives
Ministries and programs that support family unity
and marital commitment
Faithful prayer
A fellowship of believers who demonstrates
sacrificial love and concern for other
Biblical training for children
Committed to discover spiritual gifts and develop
spiritual leadership
Willingness to move in faith
A worship service that directs glorious praise, honor
and adoration to God
Disicipline on another for lifestyle evangelism
